Graduated from the Moscow State Cultural Institute, specialising in librarianship, in 1983. A co-founder and participant of Collective Actions. Joined the Avantgardist Club (KLAVA) in 1987. Founder, first director, and custodian of the MANI Museum. Lives and works in Moscow.
